The Filmmakers

Robert L. Goodman (Producer / Director / Editor) began his life on the stage long ago, just after the discovery of fire.  He holds a BA in Theatre and has worked in production for the Cleveland Play House and in New York.  Arriving in Los Angeles in 1985, Bob received his MFA in Film from the University of Southern California, with a concentration in directing.  He’s been working as an award-winning film and TV editor, a story analyst, and writer, as well as directing productions on stage.  This is Bob’s ninth short film and the only one he is willing for others to see.  (www.cinemagic.net)

Roberta Kenney (Producer) didn't finish her BFA in film production back in 1994 because she ran out of money shooting her senior film.  Undeterred, she spent the next ten years producing short films, industrials, public service announcements, and a documentary.  Rob is now working on her first feature film, Rachel in Love.  A link for roberta: click here

Jeffrey Wilkins (Director of Photography) has been in southern California for many years in the film and television industry as a cinematographer.  Originally from Denver, Jeffrey was with ABC-TV, winning several local and national awards with the National Press Photographers Association.  He then came to Hollywood, attending the American Film Institute as cinematography fellow.  Subsequently, Wilkins started to helm and work as a D.P. shooting commercials, film shorts, and feature-length narrative projects.  He currently works on television shows.  In his spare time, Jeff welds, creates art, and restores classic items that define his style.  (

Emily Dawson (Production Designer) grew up in a small town in Michigan and studied fine arts at the University of Toledo Ohio.  She moved to Los Angeles in 2001 where she later discovered her passion career while interning on the set of a Warner Brothers television show.  She’s been working in the Art Department ever since.  Emily's love for what she does shows in her work and in her belief in housing characters in a seamless environment crafted for who they are.  Her creative contribution to every project is making sure each frame seen through the eyes of the camera, and ultimately the eyes of the audience, is a finely balanced work of art. Cydney Griggs (Costume Designer) is a fashion designer turned visual stylist.  She designs costumes for feature films, and works as a stylist for television, commercials, and print.  Cydney also uses her visual training at Neiman Marcus Beverly Hills and apprenticeship at Natalie Aronson Haute Couture in all aspects of her work.  Combining elegant visual styles with superior workmanship, she transforms a window, a room, a mannequin, a display into something fanciful and delightful to the eye.  When she is not working or jet-setting around the globe, Cydney spends time writing and illustrating her first novel, and searching for her next inspiration.  (cyddneygriggsla@aol.com)

Peter Edwards (Playwright) is the author of the stage play, Size Ten or G-Men, upon which this film is based.  He has also been a theatrical actor, lighting and set designer.  He wrote his first play at Princeton University and penned G-Men in the University of Southern California’s Master of Professional Writing program.  His plays have been performed on the west coast from Seattle to Los Angeles and his short stories have appeared in international literary magazines.  Pete has also been teaching and tutoring for over 20 years, and owns Achieve Tutorials, an elite, private tutorial company that caters to high schoolers from all over the Los Angeles region.  And yes, he’d rather be surfing.
